Sentence of the Day
Those who go out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, carrying their sheaves. Psalm 126:6
Prayer for the Day
God, all love comes from you;
Mary’s perfume on Christ’s feet,
and his blood spent upon the cross,
signal your extravagance.
Warm our hearts with your love,
deliver us from all meanness of spirit,
and make us generous in all we are,
Through Jesus Christ our Liberator,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
