Sentence of the Day
At the name of Jesus, every knee shall bend, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:10–11
Prayer for the Day
God of saints and sinners,
these palms will dry and fade,
and shouts of ‘hosanna’ will change to ‘crucify’.
Forgive our treachery,
grant us faithfulness to follow Christ.
Through Jesus Christ our Liberator,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
