God of justice and compassion,
you anointed Jesus
to bring good news to the poor,
freedom from bondage,
and new vision to the blind;
send your Spirit upon us
so we proclaim and live your new life;
through Jesus Christ our Liberator, who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
